Common Issues
Solve the most common Flow Studio problems, including node input issues, failed runs, and credit-related problems.
Common Issues
Most problems fall into one of a few categories: missing inputs, model mismatch, credit shortage, or failed upstream jobs.
A node will not run
Check:
- required inputs are connected
- the selected model matches the connected source type
- the prompt or required fields are filled in
- the workspace has enough credits
A connection will not attach
Connections only work when the handle types match.
Examples:
- image to image
- video to video
- audio to audio
- text to text
If a connection still fails, the target model may have additional input constraints.
Output did not appear
If a node finishes but you do not see what you expect:
- check whether the upstream node really completed
- confirm the node output type is what the next node expects
- inspect whether the model is a utility step with special source requirements
Credits error
If you see an insufficient credit error:
- top up the workspace balance
- reduce expensive runs where possible
- verify whether a paid template or assistant turn triggered the charge
Template import failed
Possible reasons:
- the template requires credits and the workspace balance is too low
- the current workspace does not have permission or access
- the current import was interrupted before flow data finished applying
Lookie is not helping as expected
Lookie works best when you describe:
- your goal
- the media you already have
- the type of output you want
If needed, simplify the request and build the flow step by step.
When to retry
Retry after you:
- change an invalid connection
- choose the correct model
- supply the missing input
- fix the credit problem
If the same run keeps failing without any meaningful change, inspect the workflow structure instead of repeatedly rerunning.
