Templates

Learn how templates work, when they charge credits, and how to use them on the canvas.

Templates

Templates are pre-built flows designed to help you start faster.

Why use templates

Templates save time because they already contain:

  • a workflow structure
  • pre-arranged nodes
  • logical connections
  • a starting point for a specific outcome

How to open templates

Use the Templates action in the left action dock.

From there you can:

  • browse available templates
  • preview what a template is for
  • apply a template to the current project

How template import behaves

Template import applies flow data to the current project. You stay inside the project route while the template content is applied.

Template billing behavior

If a template is paid:

  • the workspace is charged once for that template
  • re-importing the same template later does not charge again

If the workspace does not have enough credits:

  • the system returns a credit error
  • the UI can show the required amount and the shortfall

Best way to use templates

  1. Pick the template closest to your desired output.
  2. Replace text, assets, or actors.
  3. Review models and settings on the nodes.
  4. Run the flow step by step or branch by branch.

When to use a blank canvas instead

Start from scratch when:

  • your workflow is highly custom
  • you want to test a new model combination
  • you need a lighter flow than the template provides
