Actors
Use actor assets in flows and understand how actor selection fits into the canvas workflow.
Actors
Actors help you bring reusable character assets into a Flow Studio project.
Where actors live
Use the Actors action in the left action dock to open the actors modal.
From there you can choose actor variations and bring them into the current canvas.
How actor usage works
When you select an actor variation:
- the chosen asset is inserted into the canvas as usable media
- it can feed downstream image or video steps
- it becomes part of the current workflow instead of staying isolated in a separate tool
Good actor use cases
- spokesperson-style content
- repeatable character campaigns
- UGC-style ad concepts
- consistent visual identity across multiple flows
Best workflow pattern
Typical actor-driven flow:
Actor asset -> Generation or Edit step -> Output
You can also combine actor assets with templates if the template expects an image or visual source.
Tips
- Pick actor variations that match your final output goal before building the rest of the flow.
- If a downstream node expects a specific input type, confirm the actor asset matches that requirement.
- Keep actor-heavy flows organized so you can reuse them later as templates.
