- How to write a script and action prompt
- How to generate your first video
- What to expect during the generation process
Prerequisites
- An active account (see "Creating an Account" if needed)
- At least 12 credits in your workspace (Quick Video costs 12 credits)
- A few minutes to complete the process
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Access Video Craft Lite
- After logging in, you'll see the main dashboard
- Look for the "Video Craft Lite" card in the primary features section
- Click on the "Video Craft Lite" card
- You'll be taken to the video generation page
Location: The dashboard shows feature cards in the center of the screen. Video Craft Lite is typically one of the main feature cards.
Step 2: Select Quick Video Mode
- On the video generation page, you'll see two mode options at the top: "Quick Video" and "Premium Video"
- Click on the "Quick Video" tab (it should be selected by default)
- You'll see it shows "~2-3 min ⢠12 credits" - this tells you the generation time and cost
What You'll See: Two tabs side-by-side. The Quick Video tab will be highlighted with an orange border when selected. The tab shows a lightning bolt icon (ā”) and displays the estimated generation time and credit cost.
Step 3: Select an Actor (Step 1)
-
In the left panel, you'll see "Step 1: Select Actor" section with a "Required" badge
-
The section shows: "Choose who will appear in your video"
-
You have several options:
- Actors Tab (default): Browse pre-generated actor images
- Upload Tab: Upload your own image
- Generate Tab: Generate a new actor image using AI
- History Tab: Select from your previous generations
-
For your first video, we recommend:
- Option A: Click the "Actors" tab (default) and browse available actor images, then click on one you like
- Option B: Click the "Upload" tab, then click the upload area to select an image from your computer
-
Once selected, you'll see the image appear in the preview canvas on the right (desktop) or top (mobile/tablet)
Location: Left side panel, first section. The preview canvas is on the right side (desktop) or top (mobile/tablet).
Note: The selected actor/image will appear in the preview area. Make sure it looks good before proceeding. The step indicator at the top will show Step 1 as completed once you select an actor.
Step 4: Write Your Script & Action (Step 2)
-
Scroll down to "Script & Action" section (Step 2)
-
The section header shows: "Define what the actor will say and how they should behave" with a "Required" badge
-
You'll see two text areas:
Script (Required):
- Click in the "Script" textarea (labeled with "Required" badge)
- Enter the exact text that the actor will speak in the video
- This will be converted to speech audio
- Example: "Welcome to our platform! Today, we're excited to show you how easy it is to create professional videos using AI technology."
- Placeholder text: "e.g., Welcome to our new product launch. Today, we're excited to introduce a revolutionary solution..."
Action (Optional):
- Click in the "Action" textarea (labeled with "Optional" badge)
- Describe how you want the actor to behave, react, and move
- This controls body language, gestures, facial expressions, and overall demeanor
- Example: "Speaking confidently with a warm smile, making natural hand gestures, maintaining eye contact with the camera"
- Placeholder text: "e.g., Speaking confidently with warm smile, making natural hand gestures, maintaining eye contact..."
- If left empty, it defaults to: "Speaking directly with natural eye contact and dynamic hand gestures"
Tips:
- Keep scripts clear and concise for best results
- Actions help control body language and expressions
- The script length determines video duration (up to 8 seconds)
- The step indicator will show Step 2 as completed once you enter a script
Step 5: Review Settings (Step 3)
-
Scroll to the "Video Settings" section (Step 3)
-
The section header shows "Video Settings" with a "Required" badge
-
Quick Video has one setting:
- Aspect Ratio: Automatically selected based on your input image dimensions
- Landscape (16:9): Used when your image is wider than tall
- Portrait (9:16): Used when your image is taller than wide
- The aspect ratio is displayed with an indicator showing which one is active
-
Note: You cannot manually change the aspect ratio for Quick Video - it's automatically determined by your input image
Location: Video Settings section below Script & Action. The aspect ratio is displayed with visual indicators (šŗ for Landscape, š± for Portrait).
Tip: If you want a specific aspect ratio, choose or upload an image with the desired dimensions before proceeding.
Step 6: Organize Asset (Optional)
- Scroll to the "Organize Asset" section (below Settings)
- This section has a tag icon and shows: "Add tags to help organize this item (optional)"
- You can add tags to help organize your video in your history
- Click on the tag selector to choose existing tags or create new ones
- This step is optional - you can skip it and proceed to generation
Location: Below Video Settings section. Shows a tag selector dropdown.
Step 7: Check Your Credits and Generate
- Scroll to the very bottom of the left panel (or look at the fixed bottom bar on mobile)
- You'll see a blue note above the Generate button:
- "Note: Video will be generated up to 8 seconds based on action and script length."
- Below the note, you'll see a large "Generate Quick Video" button with a lightning bolt icon (ā”)
- The button shows: "Generate Quick Video (12 credits)"
- Make sure you have at least 12 credits (displayed in the button text)
- Click the "Generate Quick Video" button
- The button will change to show a loading state
What Happens Next:
- Your credits (12 credits) will be deducted immediately
- The preview canvas will show a loading animation
- A message will indicate that generation is in progress

- The button text may change to "Generate New Quick Video" if a previous generation is still processing
Step 8: Wait for Generation

The generation process takes approximately 2-3 minutes
-
You can:
- Wait on the page (it will auto-update when complete)
- Navigate away and come back later - the page will show your video when you return
