Motion Craft

Image-to-video and text-to-video generation guide

Motion Craft

Overview

Motion Craft allows you to transform images into videos or generate videos from text descriptions alone. This powerful feature uses advanced AI to create dynamic videos with motion, camera movements, and visual effects. You can work in two modes: Image-to-Video (with an uploaded image) or Text-to-Video (from text description only).

When to Use Motion Craft

  • Image Animation: Transform static images into dynamic videos
  • Creative Content: Generate videos from text descriptions
  • Product Showcases: Animate product images with motion
  • Artistic Projects: Create cinematic and artistic video content
  • Marketing Content: Generate engaging motion graphics from images or text

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Video Description (Required)

  1. Navigate to Vision Craft:

    • Click on "Vision Craft" card from the dashboard
    • Select the "Motion Craft" tab (first tab with image icon)
  2. Enter Video Description:

    • In the "Video Description" section, enter a detailed description of the motion and action you want
    • Required Field: This field must be filled before you can generate
    • Be Specific: Describe movement, camera angles, and visual details clearly

Tips for Writing Descriptions:

  • Be specific about motion: "gentle breeze moves through leaves", "camera slowly pans across"
  • Include camera movements: "slow zoom in", "smooth pan left", "tracking shot"
  • Describe visual effects: "soft lighting", "cinematic color grading", "dynamic shadows"
  • Mention timing: "gradual movement", "smooth transition", "gentle motion"

Example Description:

A gentle breeze moves through the autumn leaves, camera slowly pans across the scene revealing a serene forest landscape. Soft morning light filters through the trees, creating dynamic shadows that dance as the wind flows.

Step 2: Images (Optional)

Motion Craft supports two modes:

Mode A: Image-to-Video (With Image)

  1. Upload an Image:

    • Click in the "Images" section
    • Upload one image using the Reference Images Uploader
    • Recommended: Use high-quality images for best results
    • Aspect Ratio: Will be auto-detected from your image
  2. Auto-Detection:

    • Aspect ratio is automatically detected from your uploaded image
    • Landscape: Detected for wider images (16:9)
    • Portrait: Detected for taller images (9:16)
    • You'll see "Auto-detected" label for the aspect ratio
  3. Result: The video will animate your uploaded image based on your description

Mode B: Text-to-Video (No Image)

  1. Skip Image Upload:

    • Leave the Images section empty
    • You must select an aspect ratio manually (see Step 3)
    • The system will generate a video entirely from your text description
  2. When to Use:

    • When you don't have a source image
    • When you want the AI to create everything from scratch
    • For completely original video content

Note: If you upload an image, aspect ratio is auto-detected. If you don't upload an image, you must manually select an aspect ratio.

Step 3: Video Settings

Aspect Ratio

When Image is Uploaded:

  • Auto-Detected: Aspect ratio is automatically detected from your image
  • Display: Shows "Landscape (Auto-detected)" or "Portrait (Auto-detected)"
  • Cannot Change: Aspect ratio is locked when an image is present

When No Image (Text-to-Video):

  • Manual Selection: You must choose an aspect ratio
  • Options:
    • 📺 Landscape: 16:9 ratio (good for YouTube, websites, presentations)
    • 📱 Portrait: 9:16 ratio (good for Instagram Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Selection: Click on Landscape or Portrait button to select
  • Required: Aspect ratio is required for text-to-video generation

Duration

  • Options: Choose between 10 seconds or 15 seconds
  • Selection: Click on "10s" or "15s" button
  • Cost Impact: Longer videos cost more credits
  • Recommendation: 10 seconds for faster generation, 15 seconds for more content

Tips:

  • Longer videos take more time to generate
  • 10 seconds is good for most social media content
  • 15 seconds provides more storytelling time

Quality

  • Options:
