Quick Video

Overview

Quick Video is a fast and simple video generation feature perfect for social media content, quick updates, and rapid content creation. With Quick Video, you can generate professional videos in just 2-3 minutes at a fixed cost of 12 credits.

When to Use Quick Video

  • Social Media Content: Create quick videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
  • Fast Turnaround: When you need video content quickly (2-3 minutes)
  • Simple Projects: Straightforward videos without complex requirements
  • Cost-Effective: Fixed 12 credits per video, regardless of settings

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Select Actor

  1. Navigate to Video Craft Lite:

    • Click on "Video Craft Lite" card from the dashboard
    • Select the "Quick Video" tab (first tab with lightning bolt icon)

  2. Choose an Actor:

    • In the "Step 1: Select Actor" section, you'll see several tabs:
      • Actors Tab (default): Browse pre-generated actor images
      • Upload Tab: Upload your own actor image
      • Generate Tab: Generate a new actor image using AI
      • History Tab: Select from your previous generations

  3. Select Your Actor:

    • Click on any actor image from the Actors tab, or
    • Upload an image from the Upload tab, or
    • Generate a new actor from the Generate tab, or
    • Choose a previous generation from the History tab

  4. Preview: The selected actor will appear in the preview canvas on the right (desktop) or top (mobile)

Note: The selected actor image is required before you can proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Script & Action

In the "Script & Action" section, you'll find two text areas:

Script (Required)

  • Purpose: Enter the exact text that the actor will speak in the video
  • Placeholder: "e.g., Welcome to our new product launch. Today, we're excited to introduce a revolutionary solution..."
  • Tips:
    • Write in a conversational, natural tone
    • Keep it clear and concise
    • The script length determines video duration (up to 8 seconds)
    • Focus on one main message or idea

Example Script:

Welcome to our revolutionary new product! We've designed this solution to transform your workflow and boost productivity. Join us as we explore the amazing features.

Action (Optional)

  • Purpose: Describe how the actor should behave, react, and move
  • Placeholder: "e.g., Speaking confidently with warm smile, making natural hand gestures, maintaining eye contact..."
  • Default: If left empty, defaults to: "Speaking directly with natural eye contact and dynamic hand gestures"
  • Tips:
    • Be specific about body language and gestures
    • Include emotional cues like "warm smile" or "confident demeanor"
    • Describe facial expressions and eye contact
    • Use phrases like "natural hand gestures" and "maintaining eye contact"

Example Action:

Speaking confidently with a warm smile, making natural hand gestures, maintaining eye contact with the camera

Step 3: Video Settings

Quick Video has minimal settings:

Aspect Ratio (Auto-Selected)

  • Auto-Detection: Aspect ratio is automatically selected based on your input image dimensions
  • Landscape (16:9): Automatically chosen for wider images (good for YouTube, websites, presentations)
  • Portrait (9:16): Automatically chosen for taller images (good for Instagram Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Display: You'll see which aspect ratio was auto-selected (marked with "Auto" badge)

Note: The aspect ratio cannot be manually changed in Quick Video mode - it's automatically determined by your input image.

Step 4: Organize Asset (Optional)

  • Tags: Add tags to help organize this video in your history
  • Tag Selector: Click on the tag dropdown to select existing tags or create new ones
  • Purpose: Tags help you find and organize your videos later in the history section

Step 5: Generate Video

  1. Check Credits:

    • Ensure you have at least 12 credits (displayed at the bottom of the left panel)
    • Quick Video costs 12 credits (fixed cost)

  2. Review Note:

    • A blue note appears above the Generate button:
    • "Note: Video will be generated up to 8 seconds based on action and script length."

  3. Click Generate:

    • Click the "Generate Quick Video" button (lightning bolt icon)
    • Credits are deducted immediately
    • The preview canvas will show a loading animation

  4. Wait for Generation:

    • Generation takes approximately 2-3 minutes
    • You can wait on the page or navigate away
    • The page will automatically update when complete
    • You'll receive an email notification if enabled

Step 6: View Your Video

  1. Video Display:

    • Once complete, the video automatically appears in the preview canvas
    • Video controls are available (play, pause, volume)
    • Video auto-plays when ready

  2. Download:

    • Use the download button to save the video to your computer
    • Video is in MP4 format, ready for direct upload to platforms

Video Duration

  • Maximum: Up to 8 seconds
  • Determined By: Script and action length
  • Fixed: Duration is automatically calculated - you cannot manually set it
  • Note: The system determines the optimal duration based on your script length

Credit Cost

  • Fixed Cost: 12 credits per video
  • No Variables: Cost is the same regardless of:
    • Script length
    • Action description
    • Aspect ratio (auto-detected)
  • Deduction: Credits are deducted immediately when you click "Generate"
  • Refund: If generation fails, credits are automatically refunded

Tips for Best Results

Script Writing

  • Be Clear: Write in a conversational, natural tone
  • Keep It Concise: Focus on one main message (up to 8 seconds of speech)
  • Natural Flow: Write as if someone is speaking naturally
  • One Idea: Stick to one main point per video

Action Descriptions

  • Be Specific: Describe desired behavior clearly
  • Natural Movements: Use phrases like "natural hand gestures" and "maintaining eye contact"
  • Emotion Matters: Include emotional cues like "warm smile" or "confident demeanor"
  • Body Language: Describe how the actor should move and gesture

Image Selection

  • Good Quality: Choose clear, high-quality actor images
  • Appropriate Style: Select actors that match your content's tone (professional, casual, etc.)
  • Face Visibility: Ensure the actor's face is clearly visible
  • Aspect Ratio: Consider your target platform when choosing images (portrait for social media, landscape for websites)

What to Expect

Generation Time

  • Average: 2-3 minutes
  • May Vary: Based on server load and complexity
  • Progress: Loading animation shows generation is in progress

Video Quality

  • High Quality: Professional output suitable for social media and websites
  • Optimized: Video is optimized for the selected aspect ratio
  • Smooth Playback: Professional video quality with smooth playback

File Format

  • Format: MP4 (standard video format)
  • Compatible: Works with most video players and platforms
  • Ready to Use: Can be directly uploaded to social media or websites

Troubleshooting

Generation Failed

  • Check Credits: Ensure you have enough credits (12 credits minimum)
  • Try Again: Sometimes temporary issues occur - try generating again
  • Check Script: Make sure your script is appropriate and doesn't violate content policies
  • Refund: Credits are automatically refunded if generation fails

Video Quality Issues

  • Source Image: Ensure your source actor image is high quality
  • Script Length: Very long scripts may affect quality - keep scripts concise
  • Try Premium Video: For higher quality control, consider using Premium Video mode

Credit Issues

  • Check Balance: Verify your credit balance in settings
  • Purchase Credits: Buy more credits if needed (click credit balance display)
  • Check Workspace: Ensure you're in the correct workspace with credits
