Image Craft
Overview
Image Craft is an AI-powered image editing feature that allows you to edit images using natural language descriptions. You can make changes to images, generate variations, and create edited versions of your images with simple text prompts.
When to Use Image Craft
- Image Editing: Make specific changes to images using text descriptions
- Content Creation: Generate variations of images for A/B testing or alternatives
- Creative Projects: Experiment with different visual styles and edits
- Product Images: Edit product photos with specific modifications
- Quick Edits: Make quick edits without complex photo editing software
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Select Image (Required)

Navigate to Image Craft:
- Click on "Image Craft" card from the dashboard

Choose an Image:
- In the "Select" section, you'll see several tabs:
- Actors Tab: Browse pre-generated actor images
- Upload Tab: Upload your own image
- Generate Tab: Generate a new image using AI
- History Tab: Select from your previous generations
- Edited Tab: Select from previously edited images (appears when available)
- In the "Select" section, you'll see several tabs:

Select Your Image:
- Click on any image from any tab
- The selected image will appear in the preview canvas
- Zoom controls are available to inspect the image
Note: An image is required before you can proceed to editing.
Step 2: Describe (Magic Edit Prompt)

Magic Edit Field:
- In the "Describe" section, enter a text description of what you want to change
- Required: This field must be filled
- Purpose: Describe the edits or changes you want to make to the image

Writing Effective Descriptions:
- Be Specific: Clearly describe what you want to change
- Use Clear Language: Write in simple, direct language
- Include Details: Mention colors, objects, actions, or modifications
- Focus on Changes: Describe what should be different from the original
Example Descriptions:
- "Change the background to a beach sunset"
- "Add sunglasses to the person"
- "Make the sky more dramatic with clouds"
- "Change the shirt color to blue"
- "Add a cat sitting on the couch"
Tips:
- Be clear and specific about your desired changes
- Focus on one or a few related changes at a time
- Use descriptive language for colors, objects, and scenes
Step 3: Reference Images (Optional)
- Purpose: Upload reference images to guide the editing style or appearance
- Optional: Not required, but can help achieve specific looks
- Upload: Use the Reference Images Uploader to add reference images
- Use Case: Match a specific style, color scheme, or appearance
Step 4: Generate Variations

Generate Button:
- Once you've selected an image and entered a description, click "Generate Variations"
- The system will generate 4 different variations of your edited image
- Credit cost: 10 credits per generation

Generation Process:
- Generation takes approximately 1-2 minutes
- A loading animation appears in the preview canvas
- You can wait on the page or navigate away
- You'll receive an email notification if enabled

Variations Display:
- Once complete, 4 variations appear as thumbnails below the preview
- Each variation shows a different interpretation of your edit
- Variations are numbered (1, 2, 3, 4)
Step 5: Choose Variation

Preview Variations:
- Click on any variation thumbnail to preview it in the main canvas
- The preview allows you to compare variations with the original
- You can switch between variations by clicking different thumbnails

Compare with Original:
- Click "View Original" to see the base image
- Switch back to variations to compare
- Use zoom controls to inspect details

Confirm Selection:
- Once you've chosen your preferred variation, click "Confirm" on that variation
- The selected variation becomes your new base image
- You can now make additional edits or use this image elsewhere

Continue Editing:
- After confirming, you can add more edits
- Each confirmed variation becomes the base for the next edit
- This creates a chain of edits (image history)
Step 6: Image History Navigation

History Navigation:
- After multiple edits, use navigation arrows to move through history
- Previous: Go back to earlier versions
- Next: Move forward to later versions
- Current Position: Shows your position in the edit chain

Edit Chain:
- Each confirmed variation creates a new entry in history
- You can navigate through all your edits
- Original image is always at the start of the chain
Step 7: Organize Asset (Optional)
- Tags: Add tags to help organize this image in your history
- Tag Selector: Click on the tag dropdown to select existing tags or create new ones
- Purpose: Tags help you find and organize your edited images later
Credit Cost
- Fixed Cost: 10 credits per generation (4 variations)
- No Variables: Cost is the same regardless of:
- Description length
- Number of reference images
- Type of edits
- Deduction: Credits are deducted when you click "Generate Variations"
- Refund: If generation fails, credits are automatically refunded
