Overview

Credits are the currency used on our platform to generate content. Every video, image, and edit costs credits. This guide explains how the credit system works, what credits are, and how they're used.

What are Credits?

Credits are virtual currency units used to pay for content generation on the platform. Think of them like tokens or points that you purchase and then spend when creating content.

Key Characteristics

Virtual Currency: Credits exist only on the platform
Purchasable: You buy credits using real money (USD)
Workspace-Based: Credits belong to workspaces, not individual accounts
Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be transferred between workspaces
No Expiration: Credits don't expire (as of current policy)

How Credits Work

Credit Flow

Purchase: Buy credits using real money (USD)
Storage: Credits are stored in your workspace
Usage: Credits are deducted when you generate content
Tracking: Credit balance and usage are tracked in your account

Credit Balance

Current Balance: Shows how many credits you have available
Location: Displayed in top-right corner of dashboard
Per Workspace: Each workspace has its own credit balance
Real-Time: Balance updates immediately after generation or purchase

Credit Deductions

Credits are deducted when:

You generate a video (Quick Video, Premium Video, Motion Craft, etc.)
You edit an image (Image Craft)
You enhance an image (Skin Craft)
Any content generation is initiated

Important: Credits are deducted immediately when you click "Generate", before the generation completes. If generation fails, credits may be refunded (see Credit Refunds guide).

Credit System Features

Workspace Credits

Shared Pool: All workspace members share the same credit balance
Collaborative: Any member can use workspace credits
Visible to All: All members see the same credit balance
Isolated: Credits in one workspace don't affect other workspaces

Credit Packages

Welcome Credits (Free):

All new users receive 25 free credits automatically upon signup
Perfect for exploring core features without any upfront payment
No credit card required

Purchased Packages:

Starter Package: $20 for 250 credits
Popular Package: $50 for 638 credits (2% savings, recommended)
Pro Package: $100 for 1,316 credits (5% savings)
Enterprise Package: $200 for 2,778 credits (10% savings, best value)

Larger packages offer better value (more credits per dollar) with increasing discounts.

Credit Costs

Each feature has different credit costs:

Simple Features: Fixed cost (e.g., Quick Video: 12 credits, Image Craft: 10 credits, Skin Craft: 3 credits)
Advanced Features: Variable cost based on settings (e.g., Premium Video: 25-72 credits depending on duration, audio, resolution)

The platform uses a base rate of $0.08 per credit (as of current pricing).

Welcome Credits: 25 free credits (automatic on signup)
Starter: $20 for 250 credits (base rate, no discount)

Pro: $100 for 1,316 credits (5% savings)

Managing Credits

Viewing Balance

Dashboard Display: Top-right corner shows current workspace balance
Settings View: Settings → Credits tab shows detailed information
Transaction History: See all credit transactions and usage

Purchasing Credits

Click credit balance display or go to Settings → Credits
Select a credit package
Complete purchase through secure checkout
Credits added immediately to workspace

Credit Transactions

Every credit activity is recorded:

Purchases: When credits are purchased
Usage: When credits are deducted for generation
Refunds: When credits are refunded for failed generations

Credit Policies

No Expiration: Credits don't expire (current policy)
No Refund Policy: Credits cannot be refunded for cash (purchased credits)
Refund Policy: Failed generations are automatically refunded
Transfer Policy: Credits cannot be transferred between workspaces

Troubleshooting

Balance Not Updating

Refresh Page: Reload page to see updated balance
Check Workspace: Ensure you're viewing correct workspace
Wait a Moment: Updates may take a few seconds
Check Transaction History: Verify transaction was recorded

Unexpected Deductions

Review History: Check transaction history for all deductions
Verify Costs: Understand feature costs
Check Settings: Some settings increase costs
Team Activity: Check if team members used credits

Purchase Issues

Payment Method: Verify payment method is valid
Contact Support: If purchase doesn't complete
Check Email: Look for purchase confirmation
Verify Balance: Check if credits were added
