Purchasing Credits
Overview
This guide walks you through purchasing credits for your workspace. Credits are needed to generate videos and images on the platform.
How to Purchase Credits
Step 1: Open Buy Credits Modal
Method 1: From Credit Balance Display
- Look at the top-right corner of the dashboard
- Click on your current credit balance display
- A "Buy Credits" modal will open
Method 2: From Settings
- Click the Settings icon (gear) in the top-right corner
- Go to the "Credits" tab
- Click the "Buy Credits" button
Location: Top-right credit balance (clickable) or Settings → Credits tab → Buy Credits button.
Step 2: Select a Credit Package
In the Buy Credits modal, you'll see available packages displayed as cards in a grid:
- Starter Package: $20 for 250 credits
- Popular Package: $50 for 638 credits (shows "Save 2%" badge, recommended)
- Pro Package: $100 for 1,316 credits (shows "Save 5%" badge)
- Enterprise Package: $200 for 2,778 credits (shows "Save 10%" badge, best value)
Note: All new users receive 25 free credits upon signup. If you've used your free credits, purchase a package below to continue creating.
Selecting a Package:
- Click on the package card you want to purchase
- The selected package will be highlighted with an orange border and checkmark icon
- Package cards show the price prominently and credits below
- Starter package is selected by default

Step 3: Choose Payment Method

Existing Payment Methods:
- In the "Payment Methods" section, if you have saved payment methods, they'll be listed
- Each saved card shows: card brand (VISA, MASTERCARD, etc.), last 4 digits, expiration date, and "Default" badge if it's your default payment method
- You can set a card as default or delete cards using the buttons on the right
- No need to select - the default payment method is used automatically

Add New Payment Method:
- Click the "Add Card" button (with plus icon) in the Payment Methods section header
- This will open Stripe's secure card entry form
- Enter card details securely (processed by Stripe, not stored on our servers)
- The new card will be saved and set as default

Step 4: Complete Purchase
Quick Buy (with saved payment method):
- If you have a saved payment method, you'll see two buttons: "Quick Buy" (orange, primary) and "Review & Pay" (outlined, secondary)
- Click "Quick Buy" to purchase immediately with your default payment method
- A confirmation modal will appear showing package details and payment method
- Click "Confirm Purchase" in the modal
- Credits are added instantly to your workspace
- You'll see a success toast: "Purchase successful! X credits added to your account"
Checkout Process (if no saved payment method or using Review & Pay):
- Click "Continue to Payment" button (or "Review & Pay" if you have saved methods)
- You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout page
- Enter payment details if needed
- Complete the payment on Stripe's secure page
- You'll be redirected back to the platform
- Credits are added immediately to your workspace
Location: Buy Credits modal, bottom section (below Payment Methods) with "Quick Buy"/"Continue to Payment" buttons and total price display.
Step 5: Verify Credits Added

Check Balance:
- Your credit balance in the top-right corner of the dashboard should update automatically
- Shows the new total including purchased credits
- Update happens immediately after purchase (may take a few seconds)

Transaction History:
- Go to Settings → Credits tab → Transactions sub-tab
- You'll see the purchase transaction listed at the top (newest first)
- Shows "Credit Purchase" title, purchase amount, credits added, status (Completed), and timestamp
- Expand the transaction to see full details

Modal Closes:
- The Buy Credits modal closes automatically after successful purchase
- You'll see a success toast notification confirming the purchase

Welcome Credits (Free)
- Price: FREE (automatic on signup)
- Credits: 25 credits
- Best For: New users exploring the platform
- Value: Allows you to try core features without any payment
- Includes: Perfect for testing Quick Video, Image Craft, Skin Craft, and more
Starter Package
- Price: $20
- Credits: 250 credits
- Best For: Regular users, small projects
- Value: Standard pricing, no discount ($0.08 per credit)
- Badge: None
- Default: This package is selected by default in the modal
Popular Package (Recommended)
- Price: $50
- Credits: 638 credits
- Savings: 2% off base rate
- Best For: Regular content creators
- Value: Good balance of quantity and savings ($0.0784 per credit)
- Badge: "Save 2%" badge shown on package card
Pro Package
- Price: $100
- Credits: 1,316 credits
- Savings: 5% off base rate
- Best For: High-volume users, teams
- Value: Better savings per credit ($0.076 per credit)
- Badge: "Save 5%" badge shown on package card
Enterprise Package
- Price: $200
- Credits: 2,778 credits
- Savings: 10% off base rate
- Best For: Enterprise teams, large-scale operations
- Value: Maximum savings per credit ($0.072 per credit)
- Badge: "Save 10%" badge shown on package card
Payment Methods
Supported Payment Methods
- Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Debit Cards: Most major debit cards
- Secure Processing: All payments processed securely via Stripe
Saving Payment Methods
- You can save payment methods for future purchases
- Saved methods enable "Quick Buy" feature
- Payment information is stored securely (encrypted)
- You can manage saved payment methods in the modal

- All payments processed through Stripe (PCI compliant)
- Card details are encrypted and secure
- No card information stored on our servers
- Secure checkout process
Automatic Payments (Auto Top-ups) (Optional)
What are Automatic Payments?
Automatic Payments (also called "auto top-ups") automatically purchase credits when your balance falls below a threshold. This ensures you never run out of credits.
Setting Up Automatic Payments

In Buy Credits Modal:
- Scroll to the "Automatic Payments" section (below Payment Methods)
- You need a saved payment method first (see Payment Methods section above)
- Toggle the switch to enable auto top-ups
- If you don't have a payment method, you'll see a tooltip explaining you need to add one first

Configure Settings (when enabled):
- Threshold: Select when to trigger purchase (50, 100, 200, 300, or 500 credits)
- Auto-Pay Amount: Select which package to purchase (Starter, Popular, Pro, or Enterprise)
- Click "Save" button to save settings

How It Works:
- When credits fall below the threshold, purchase is triggered automatically
- Uses your default payment method
- Credits are added automatically to your workspace
- You receive email notification about the purchase

Payment Failures:
- If payment fails, auto top-ups are automatically disabled
- You'll see a red banner explaining why it was disabled (card declined, insufficient funds, etc.)
- Update your payment method and re-enable auto top-ups

Choosing a Package
- Start Free: Use your 25 free credits to explore features first
- Best Value: Popular, Pro, or Enterprise packages offer better value with discounts
- Volume Planning: Estimate your usage to choose right package
- Team Usage: Larger packages (Pro, Enterprise) work well for team workspaces
Payment Management
- Save Payment Method: Add cards to enable Quick Buy feature
- Automatic Payments: Set up auto top-ups to avoid interruptions
- Monitor Spending: Review transaction history regularly
- Multiple Methods: Add multiple cards, set default payment method
- Quick Buy: Use Quick Buy button for instant purchases with saved payment method
Credit Management
- Plan Purchases: Buy before running low
- Monitor Balance: Check balance regularly
- Coordinate Team: Communicate purchases with team members
- Track Usage: Review usage patterns to plan purchases
Troubleshooting
Purchase Not Completing
- Check Payment Method: Verify card is valid and has funds
- Try Again: Sometimes temporary issues occur
- Contact Support: If purchase fails repeatedly
- Check Email: Look for purchase confirmation or error emails
Credits Not Added
- Refresh Page: Reload to see updated balance
- Check Transaction History: Verify purchase was recorded
- Wait a Moment: Credits may take a few seconds to appear
- Contact Support: If credits don't appear after purchase
Payment Method Issues
- Verify Card: Ensure card details are correct
- Check Limits: Verify card spending limits
- Contact Bank: Some banks block online transactions
- Try Different Card: Use alternate payment method
