Using filters to find specific generations

Filtering & Search

Overview

Filtering and search help you quickly find specific content in your history. You can filter by status, feature, tags, and search by text to locate exactly what you're looking for.

  1. Search Bar:

    • Located at the top of the history panel or sheet
    • Text input field for entering search queries
  2. Enter Query:

    • Type your search term
    • Search happens in real-time as you type
    • Searches item titles and descriptions
  3. View Results:

    • Matching items appear immediately
    • Non-matching items are hidden
    • Results update as you type

Search Tips

  • Keywords: Use specific keywords from item titles
  • Partial Matches: Search matches partial words
  • Case Insensitive: Search is not case-sensitive
  • Clear Search: Clear the search bar to see all items again

What Gets Searched

  • Titles: Item titles and names
  • Descriptions: Item descriptions and prompts
  • Feature Names: Feature names (if visible in titles)

Status Filter

Filter Options

  • All: Show all items regardless of status
  • Completed: Show only successful generations
  • Processing: Show items currently being generated
  • Failed: Show failed generations

Using Status Filter

  1. Select Status:

    • Click the status filter dropdown
    • Choose your desired status
    • View updates immediately
  2. Common Use Cases:

    • Completed: Find finished content to download or use
    • Processing: Check on items currently generating
    • Failed: Review and retry failed generations

Status Indicators

  • Visual Badges: Status shown with colored badges
  • Consistent: Status indicators are consistent across the interface
  • Real-time: Status updates automatically as generations complete

Feature Filter

Available Features

  • All Features: Show content from all features
  • Quick Video: Quick Video generations only
  • Premium Video: Premium Video generations only
  • Motion Craft: Motion Craft generations only
  • Storyboard: Storyboard generations only
  • Craft Lip Sync: Craft Lip Sync generations only
  • Image Craft: Image Craft generations only
  • Skin Craft: Skin Craft generations only

Using Feature Filter

  1. Select Feature:

    • Click the feature filter dropdown
    • Choose the feature you want to see
    • View updates immediately
  2. Use Cases:

    • Focus on Type: Focus on specific content types
    • Feature-Specific Work: When working with a specific feature
    • Organization: Organize by content source

Tag Filter

Using Tag Filter

  1. Select Tag:

    • Click the tag filter dropdown
    • Browse available tags
    • Select a tag to filter
  2. Filtered View:

    • Only items with that tag are shown
    • Other filters still apply
    • Clear tag filter to show all items
  3. Multiple Tags:

    • Some views support multiple tag selection
    • Shows items with any of the selected tags

Tag Filter Tips

  • Combine with Other Filters: Tag filter works with status and feature filters
  • Clear When Done: Clear tag filter to see all items again
  • Tag Counts: Some views show how many items have each tag

Type Filter (Tabs)

Tab Options

  • All: Show all videos and images
  • Images: Show only images
  • Videos: Show only videos
  • Audio: Show only audio files

Using Type Filter

  1. Click Tab:

    • Click the appropriate tab at the top of history
    • View updates immediately
    • Tab highlights to show active filter
  2. Use Cases:

    • Content Type Focus: Focus on specific content types
    • Quick Navigation: Quickly switch between content types
    • Organization: Organize by media type

Combining Filters

Multiple Filters

  • Status + Feature: Filter by both status and feature
  • Status + Tag: Filter by status and tags
  • Feature + Tag: Filter by feature and tags
  • All Filters: Combine status, feature, tag, and type filters

Filter Logic

  • AND Logic: Multiple filters use AND logic (all must match)
  • Example: "Completed" + "Quick Video" shows only completed Quick Videos
  • Search + Filters: Search works with all other filters

Active Filter Count

  • Indicator: Some views show how many filters are active
  • Visual Feedback: Helps you understand what's filtered
  • Clear All: Button to clear all filters at once

Clearing Filters

Individual Filters

  • Status: Select "All" to clear status filter
  • Feature: Select "All Features" to clear feature filter
  • Tag: Deselect tag or select "None" to clear tag filter
  • Search: Clear search bar text
  • Type: Click "All" tab to clear type filter

Clear All Filters

  1. Clear All Button:

    • Some views have a "Clear All" or "Reset Filters" button
    • Click to clear all active filters at once
    • Returns to default unfiltered view
  2. Manual Clear:

    • Manually reset each filter
    • Select "All" options and clear search

  • Start Broad: Start with broader filters and narrow down
  • Combine Filters: Use multiple filters for precise results
  • Use Search: Combine search with filters for best results
  • Save Common Filters: Remember combinations you use frequently

Performance

  • Limit Filters: Too many active filters may slow loading
  • Clear When Done: Clear filters when not needed
  • Refresh: Refresh if filters seem stuck

  • Tag Systematically: Use tags consistently for better filtering
  • Descriptive Names: Use descriptive names for easier searching

Effective Searches

  • Be Specific: Use specific keywords for better results
  • Try Variations: Try different word variations if no results

  • Use Quotes: Some systems support phrase searches with quotes

What to Search For

  • Titles: Search for words in item titles
  • Descriptions: Search for words in descriptions or prompts
  • Dates: Some systems allow searching by date (if supported)
  • Keywords: Search for relevant keywords from your content

Troubleshooting

No Results Found

  • Check Filters: Ensure filters aren't too restrictive
  • Clear Filters: Try clearing some filters
  • Check Spelling: Verify search terms are correct
  • Try Broader Search: Use more general search terms

Filters Not Working

  • Refresh Page: Refresh to reload filters
  • Clear and Reset: Clear all filters and try again
  • Check Selection: Ensure filters are actually selected
