Tags
Overview
Tags are a powerful organizational tool that help you categorize and find your generated content. You can create custom tags, assign them to your generations, and filter your history by tags to quickly find what you're looking for.
What are Tags?
Tags are labels you can create and assign to your content to organize it. Each tag has:
- Name: A descriptive name (e.g., "Product Launch", "Client A", "Social Media")
- Color: A color for visual identification
- Description: Optional description to clarify the tag's purpose
Creating Tags
During Generation

Tag Selector:
- Most generation features have an "Organize Asset" section
- Includes a tag selector component

Create New Tag:
- Click on the tag selector dropdown
- Click "Create New Tag" or the "+" button
- Enter tag name
- Optionally choose a color
- Optionally add a description
- Click "Create"

Tag Applied:
- New tag is created and automatically selected
- Tag is applied to your generation
From Settings (If Available)
- Some workspaces may allow creating tags from settings
- Create tags in advance for use during generation
Using Tags
Adding Tags to Generations

During Generation:
- In the "Organize Asset" section, click the tag selector
- Select existing tags from the dropdown
- Or create new tags as needed
- Selected tags are applied when you generate

Multiple Tags:
- You can select multiple tags per item
- Mix and match tags for flexible organization
- Example: Tag a video with both "Product Launch" and "Social Media"

No Tags:
- Tags are optional
- You can generate content without tags
- Tags can be added later in some cases

- Search: Search for tags by name
- Color Coded: Tags display with their colors
- Selected State: Selected tags are highlighted
- Create Button: "+ Create New Tag" option
Tag Colors
Purpose
- Visual Identification: Colors help quickly identify tags
- Organization: Use colors to categorize tags (e.g., blue for clients, green for campaigns)
- Quick Recognition: Easier to spot tags in lists
Choosing Colors
- Default Colors: System provides default colors
- Custom Colors: Some implementations allow custom color selection
- Consistent Use: Use consistent colors for similar tag categories
Tag Best Practices
Naming
- Descriptive: Use clear, descriptive names
- Consistent: Use consistent naming conventions
- Short: Keep names concise but clear
- Examples: "Product Launch 2024", "Client ABC", "Instagram Posts"
Organization
- Categories: Create tags for different categories:
- Projects: "Project Alpha", "Campaign Beta"
- Clients: "Client A", "Client B"
- Platforms: "Instagram", "YouTube", "Website"
- Types: "Tutorials", "Product Demos", "Social Media"
Usage
- Multiple Tags: Use multiple tags for complex organization
- Consistent Application: Tag similar items consistently
- Regular Review: Periodically review and clean up unused tags
Filtering by Tags
In History

Tag Filter:
- Open history panel or sheet
- Find the tag filter dropdown
- Select a tag to filter

Filtered View:
- Only items with that tag are shown
- Other filters (status, feature) still apply
- Clear tag filter to show all items again

Multiple Tags:
- Some views support filtering by multiple tags
- Shows items that have any of the selected tags
Tag Counts
- Item Count: Some views show how many items have each tag
- Visual Indicator: Helps identify commonly used tags
Managing Tags
Editing Tags
- From Settings: Some workspaces allow editing tags from settings
- Rename: Change tag names if needed
- Update Colors: Change tag colors for better organization
Deleting Tags
- From Settings: Delete unused tags from settings
- Impact: Deleting a tag removes it from all items
- Caution: Ensure you want to remove the tag from all items
Tag Limits
- Per Item: Multiple tags can be assigned per item
- Total Tags: Workspace may have limits on total number of tags
- Tag Name Length: Tag names typically limited to 50 characters

Project-Based Organization
- Tags: "Q1 Campaign", "Summer Launch", "Holiday Promo"
- Use: Tag all content related to specific projects
- Benefit: Easy to find all content for a project
Client-Based Organization

Tips for Effective Tagging
Start Early
- Tag from Start: Tag items as you create them

Troubleshooting
Tags Not Appearing
- Check Selection: Ensure tags are selected before generating
- Refresh: Refresh history to see newly tagged items
- Check Filters: Ensure tag filters aren't hiding items
Can't Create Tags
- Check Permissions: Ensure you have permission to create tags
- Check Limits: Verify workspace hasn't reached tag limits
- Try Again: Sometimes temporary issues occur
Tags Not Filtering
- Check Selection: Ensure you've selected a tag in the filter
- Clear Other Filters: Other filters may be hiding tagged items
- Refresh: Refresh the page to reload filters
